Accupressure
Acupressure is a manual therapy technique that involves applying pressure to specific points on the body to relieve pain and muscle tension. It's based on the traditional Chinese medicine practice of acupuncture, and is used in some types of massage therapy. Acupressure is said to work by activating acupoints across the meridians, which are channels inside the body that are thought to correct an imbalance in Qi (life energy). The goal is to encourage the movement of Qi through these channels.
Aroma Therapy
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils from plants for healing. Although the word "aroma" makes it sound as if the oils are inhaled, they can also be massaged into the skin, or rarely, taken by mouth. It is administered by kneading muscles and soft tissues of the body to help relieve medical conditions, injuries, or to preserve wellness.
Refexology
Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet, ears, and hands. This is done using thumb, finger, and hand massage techniques without the use of oil or lotion. Ayurvedic Reflexology is a unique and amazing fusion of Ayurvedic foot massage (padabhyanga) and Reflexology. Padabhyanga is a beautiful and relaxing ancient Ayurvedic health care modality, which balances the body, mind and spirit.
